Win.10 64bit and Fullscreen...

Post by Gters »

Hello i would like to play again this great game but despite used: -SingleCpuOrders -cpu4 -fw -pxf2560 -pyf1440 -deepColor -dd_sw -altFont -archive

...the game does not start in full screen (path is correct). I've already tried to set compatibility with WinXP2, start it as administrator etc but it doesn't work. How can I fix?

I have a MSI 32'' curved screen resolution 2560x1440, nvidia 3060ti, 32gb ram, amd ryzen 5 3600

The game never starts in full screen. From the radio dial graphic, you have to select your settings and choose a scenario and start the actual game.
Then there is the issue of the Windows Taskbar - you have to do some workarounds to get that suppressed before you can get full screen. And if your computer is a laptop you might not be able to get full screen at all.
You have said your path is correct in the shortcut properties, but is it in the box labeled 'Target' ? Did you use hyphens or the minus sign on the numeric pad area?

I believe it was Korvar that had a thread on getting the game to be full screen - it seemed to take quite a few steps including some settings in Windows itself. It is in the Stickied Threads area of this forum.

That has not been true for me. The Windows bar is always there and I had to adjust my resolution to get the vertical and horizontal game space in the right proportions.

Hello,
i am not a computer expert, just lovin strategy games. Only the first Window was not fullsreen. At the radio screen ist was fullscreen and i see there no option to change between windows mode and fuilscreen. I cant understand why changes have been made, that only lead to frustration! Maybe i am able to give this seebee tool a try. Can someone post a link here?
