[1.20 t2 + Oceania] Can't add Beam weapons

Hey,

not sure if this is a bug. I have played a stratagem to get a technology. I got "Beam Guns" but can't add it to my armour. I haven't researched Laser rifles or guns yet (which is a prerequisit). But if I can't use that technology perhaps I should have not received it with the stratagem.

I have attached my save game. Perhaps someone want to take a look.

Beam Guns require a Heavy or Monitor Tank, so the first step is probably to confirm that you weren't confused about them not being an option for Medium Tanks?

Hey, thanks a lot. I wasn't aware that they can't be used for light and medium tanks. Perhaps the pop up should be a little more detailed then.

I agree, given how I've seen almost every player be at least a bit confused about this. I think Tactical Nuke tech description is also missing the information that it can only be used in a Monitor Tank.

Beam Guns says:

• Allows you to equip your Tanks with Beam Guns.

Tactical Nuke says:

• Allows you to produce big shell like tactical nukes. Can be fired by a modified howitzer.
