While we have some info in the FAQ, here is a quick breakdown of things we plan on doing this year.

DLCS
First, will be Central Storm - This is a rework of some of the Red Storm content in the Central area, some new content, and the addition of the Belgians to the database. Looking at mid-year for that.
The second will be Northern Storm. This will include Red Storm content in that area, new content, and nations like Poland, Netherlands, and Denmark. The British will also have scenarios and campaign content in this module. Late 23 is the plan.
Other DLC is planned and may drop during the year, depending on our internal schedule of available Content Team members. We have plans for other DLCs covering other regions and time periods of the Cold War. The more Content Team folks we get, the faster things will complete and release.

More Southern Storm Content and Updates
We are working on additional scenarios and campaigns for Southern Storm that we will be releasing with our monthly updates over the next few months. These updates will fix bugs, add QoL features, and add new game engine features as the team gets them done and tested.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

We have long-range plans for things like Arctic Storm and Mediterranean Storm in the future, and Italy would be in the Med lineup.

Sounds great. I am still waiting for the Steam release with its refund policy, as i am on Linux and unsure of the games compatibility.

In the long term i would be happy to see a game with a contemporary or hypothetical present day scenario on this engine, as it seems to be by far the best tool around for something like that.

What Windows emulator are you running? As for Modern Conflicts, we want to do a game engine version for Modern War in the future, as a number of things need to be changed from the Cold War engine to work well. Same for World War as well. We want to do WW2 at some point. We will need more contributors to help with maps, data, and scenarios to get there.

Currently i am not using anything. I bought the last game on Steam to use it through Proton (Steam compatibility layer built on Wine), sadly it didnt work at all, and i refunded. So i am waiting for FC:SS to be on Steam first before i try again. Steams Proton nowadays works just out of the box on 90% of all titles, so i am hopeful with the new 64 bit engine.

Seems you've got quite some plans! I hope you'll be able to continue the success with this engine. It's the only serious operational level ground wargame engine with good UI and presentation currently on the market.

Grazie! I'm confident the Mediterranean Storm will be played in a polished, stylish UI. You are making great efforts, I see.
By the way, what about unit selection? I found it not an esy task to do. (sorry for the off-topic lol)

Unit selection in the game or in the Scenario editor, or both?

Unit selection in the game: I use shift to select multiple stacks. Then I discover I didn't select all stack units. Do I have to hover over the stacks to check my units to select them? I'm a newbie, of course. I just played the first tutorial.

There are a number of ways to select a unit and multiple units. The primary means is left-clicking to select a single unit. Even with a stack, this only "grabs" the top unit. To select multiple units, you can either Shift+left-click each unit you want to grab. These units can be from different formation elements. If you want to give a group order to a set of units of the same HQ, you can Alt+left-click the HQ unit on the map or in the OOB tree in the Spotlight panel. This selects the HQ and all of its subordinate units, and then you can right-click any of them to issue a group order. You can also select units from the Spotlight panel OOB display.

I hope this helps.

I can get it to run on Wine in Linux. The problem is something to do with the individual windows and how they refresh. In Wine they dont, or dont when they dont have the focus, and even with focus it still doesnt display correctly.. But since its technically not supported on Linux Im fine with it. It would be nice to have but I understand they cant finance re-writing the engine to make it work.

Red Storm worked, but it was 32bit based code. Southern Storm is 64bit code base. Another major change, is the use of HTML for many of the dialog reports. I don't know if you need something in your OS to make that work or work better. Please let us know if you get it working and what that setup is for others to use. Thanks.

Technically SS runs in Wine. But has significant display and mouse click issues. It runs but isnt playable. I tried that on several Linux distros; Ubuntu and Manjaro.
Again, Linux compatibility would be great but it probably doesnt make sense for you to code for that financially.

Agreed. What I have been doing is using steam remote play on win pc. and just streaming to deck or tablet. I am gradually losing bit of my eyesight so odd as sounds easier to play on smaller device then big monitor.
