Shot down by PATRIOT. Has anyone experimented with Khinzhal vs PATRIOT in CMO, and replicated something similar? Can't wait to try it out.

Kinzhal is an air-launched variant of a TBM, and Patriot has been shooting these down (with varying effectiveness...) since the mid-80s.

Zircon is a different animal (and contrary to Kinzhal it's truly a "hypersonic weapon"), an air-breathing cruise missile:

There is no "unstoppable" weapon, and anytime you see someone advertising anything as such, think carefully about their agenda.

More often than not, anything related to the war in Ukraine from either side needs to be viewed with a heavy dose of skepticism. Managing public perception of the war is the primary role that any "news organization" plays on both sides.

Slight size difference there. Not to mention the other glaring BS present in the Ukrainian propaganda videos.

Looks more like a betab500 shp.

So not saying in clear explicit language, it is heavily implied that the Kinzhal was downed by a Patriot.

"Q: Two related questions. Ukrainians say they used a Patriot missile to intercept a Russian Kinzhal, or Killjoy, missile. Was the U.S. able to confirm that? And what did you learn from the intercept of what Putin has called an impossible to intercept missile? And then what is the -- how much concern is there about Ukraine's current stock of air defense munitions? Do they have enough, given the continued Russian barrages?

GEN. RYDER: Yeah, thanks, Oren.

So first of all, when it comes to Ukraine's readiness, its inventory or details of missile intercepts, I'd -- I'd refer you to them. I can confirm that they did down a Russian missile by employing the Patriot missile defense system. As you know, that -- that system is part of a broader range of air defense capabilities that the United States and the international community have provided to Ukraine. I listed out some of those, you know, as part of their multilayered integrated air defense capability."

Follow up: the Kinzhal was targeting the Patriot - which gives the Patriot an advantage, as its limited range is not an issue.

based on the claim of this guy, Russian executed an almost prefect strike plan with TOT
3 surveillance drones, 3 S300/S400 rockets are strike densities, 6 Shaheds, 9 Kalibrs, 6 Kinzhals - all attacking simultaneously from different sides. It was the best strike that the Russians can afford, where they even took care of Orlany for reconnaissance of routes for Kalibrs and Shahedes
