USA Exclusion Zone

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

USA Exclusion Zone

Post by OldCrowBalthazor »

Hi, I never had the balls (but my opponent does 😁) to do this but 3 U-boats showed up to to raid the Canadians after the US Exclusion Zone is up.
At the end of the turn the Canadian resources got damaged of course.

Question: When do the U-boats suffer damage for the provocation?
Was also curious if there are probabilities of hits and the range of damage.
Btw this is the TRP WiE mod but I seem to remember this was a feature in vanilla WiE. Its been a long time and I couldn't find anything in the manual.

OCB, the exclusion zone is unique to TRP. So you have to ask Lothos.
Also note it goes away when the USA joins the war.

Oh apologies. Will repost on the TRP-WiE mod thread. Also this exclusion zone is a feature in WaW.
It was a late posting right after a pulling a turn and I was tired.

In the official campaigns any zones like this only increase/decrease mobilization.

Vladivostok is the only place where anyone might take damage from a script due to having their ships somewhere that someone else doesn't like, when they are not at war with each other.

Yes indeed and apologies again as its a TRP-Mod feature, not WiE...it's a mobilization increase for the USA. Seems about 5% a turn. There maybe a variable percentage...and will find out.
Interestingly, Lothos designed an Adriatic Exclusion type zone like Vladivostok in WaW for the TRP-Mod.. This keeps the Allies from suiciding the French fleet let's say up Mussolini's back side ahistorically :)
Allied ships moving in there will get hit hard. The way to drop it is to take one of several the key locations that anchor the zone. Good design. He as also done the same thing for Vigo Port and the Canary Island port if the Spanish lease them to Germany.
Anyways...on to the right thread for this report. 🙂
