German opponent for Grand Campaign

Post by HardLuckYetAgain »

Seeing if there is any interest in a game from anyone with these settings.

- German player needed
- 52 patch
- NO enhanced TB control
- can lock or unlock German HQ, you can decide

Many say I am a total "Noob", you can be the judge of my skill from my postings.

House rules
- up to you what you want, I don't care

I am interested in the OB update too, so may consider waiting for that if that update is soon.

Per Joel's post today looks like it will be a couple of weeks for the new patch. I would like to wait for that. Thank you much!

Could be longer than a couple of weeks. Things keep coming up that need to be worked on, and we need time to test the changes before they go to the public. With summer vacations, etc., it could take longer than I was originally thinking. At this point could easily be more like months as opposed to weeks before we release it to the public. Hopefully it will get to testers within a month, but even that is not guaranteed. We just discovered something recently that is hardcoded that needs to be made visible and put in the editor so it can be adjusted in data. Too hard to keep it updated in the hard code. We don't think that will be a big deal, but it will add some time, and we just don't know yet if we're going to run into any other items like this one.

Thank you so much for this information Joel.

It does not matter, remember I am a noob. Plus going to try playing my turns fast this time so really does not matter.

Plus I will probably do real up-to-date turns if I do an AAR. You don't see many Soviets doing that I bet ;-)

I have sent the password to everyone that asked for the game I posted. First come first serve on who I play, I don't care the experience level but I would advise against someone new taking the game even though I am a total "noob".
