[1.20q #174] BP Generation and Empire Dashboard report

Hi, I'm really new to this game but I read the whole manuale and this is my first match.
I've just a question about BP in Empire Dashboard report

I have a "demand" of reaching 240 BP/turn and it also reports my current BP/turn. It says 228

In my empire dashboard it says next turn I'l reach 278 increasing by 22 relative to current turn: it means at the end of previous turn I generated 256BPs.

And indeed if I sum all budgets assigned to different organizations I got 33 + 46 + 46 + 33 + 34 + 33 + 31 = 256.

tooltip says 151 + 77 = 228 -> it matches with the demand report (I'm generating 228 BP)


the 151 BP I'm generating are coming from:
From zones I'm getting 39 + 63 + 35 = 137 BP
14 from my level 1 Command HQ (10 + 40% from bureocracy)

137 + 41 = 151

But... I've also have 2 Monastry (+25 BP/each) = +50BP, so the 228 + 50 = 278

So for "demand", bonus seems to be ignored and this matches with the request to generate BPs (bonus is not generated)

sorry for double posting but it seems to be a limit of 4 or 5 attachments

But is the "budgets allocated" section that confuses me: it seems to split not the new BPs but the previous one... (they add-up to 256 BPs, the amount generated previous turn)

percentage changes but effective BPs don't.

So I'm start to believe that percentage is "real-time" while BPs allocated are relative to previous turn (a so called "archived" report)

Further more, when I complete the turn BPs are not allocated as I requested, but at least they add up to 278 (expected BP from previous turn).

I cant quite follow your math, but I've noticed this same discrepancy between the 'Demands' report and the other ways BPs are reported.

There was a thread about six moths ago here someone took apart the way Political Points are created from BP's. It was found that the math was consistent, and the player is indeed receiving everything they expect to receive. But the effects of Monasteries and Ancient Statues are not always and everywhere reported and noted. I can try and find the thread if you like.

So, when a little later, I noticed that my BPs seemed to already be above the demanded amount, I assumed it had to do with the reporting and tallies I was looking at being slightly different from what the party leaders were looking at. Once a few more BP were being produced, the demand was satisfied.

In other words, my suggestion is don't worry about it
The system is precise, but sometimes not so accurate.
