Units trapped by surrender of Enemy

Hi fellas,

not sure if this topic has been discussed before:

When Austria surrenderd I had Italian Units just south of Munich trapped without any supply. I can't even DOW on Austria to save them.
Doesn't seem right to me.

Soemthing similar happened to Russia. Units trapped when Austria surrenders and Poland becomes independet. But can DOW on Poland and save them.

No, its a MP. I'm pretty confident I'll be winning so it doesn't really matter in this game. But I had this issue before, where some more Italians in France might have made a difference
