LSA Radzymin44 mod V3.01 released
LSA Radzymin'44 V3.01 mod is released.
The installer for both matrix and steam installs is available via following link:
edit: link to outdated V3.01 removed
The mod will focus on a tank battle east of Warsaw end July begin August of 1944.
History:
The germans where catching their breath from the huge beating they got since the beginning of operation Bagration and manage to scrape together some mobile forces to counter the soviet attack aimed at Warsaw and the bridges north of the city.
The germans where able to counterattack, surround and eliminate the 3rd Tank Corps and inflict high losses on the 8Gds Tank Corps and the 16th Tank Corps.
Taking high losses themselves and the Warsaw uprising underway the germans where not strong enough to follow up the tactical victory and push on the counterattack further.
The mod will use existing stock LSA, PITF and TLD maps, some cropped or adjusted.
Recommended settings Player Vs AI:
Line Vs Line
Make sure the AI side has following boxes ticked:
-Never act on initiative
-Always have full enemy info
-Always obey orders
Thanks to:
Kanov for making the intro and campaign videos, guards soviet voices, effects file, beta testing, constructive criticism and data advice.
Steve McClaire for updating LSA to V6.00.05 and taking the time to answer questions in the matrixgames forums.
Argilas for researching BG commander names and images; guiding me through the unbelievable maze of german ranks, waffenfarbe and uniforms; beta testing; constructive criticism; and data advice.
Pete for historical research advice and letting me use his Rhineland victory condition files as a framework.
SchnelleMeyer for the original elements file, advice and support.
Dima for historical info and data advice.
Manoi for letting me use stuff from the stalingrad mod.
GameRat and Cathartes for letting me use data and a few gun sounds from the GJS9.9 mod.
Hicks for letting me use some gun sounds from his LSA soundmod.
RD Steiner for constructive criticism, beta testing and data advice.
Strike for beta testing and helping me make the installer steam compatible.
Schmal_Turm for constructive criticism and data advice.
Paratmar for research, data advice and beta testing.
SouthernLand who made the stock LSA and PiTF maps.
Mooxe for hosting the mod and keeping the ccseries site online.
Mafi and other toolmakers, without their superb tools cc modding would be impossible.
Have fun
Aetius

Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
Radzymin44 mod v2.01a released. Aetius made several adjustments to data:
V2.01a:
-Fixed low ammo on FG42 and assault MG42
-Updated weapon accuracies
-Added Pioniere, HMG, panzerschreck and sniper to Hermann Goering BG's
-Fixed target issue of PTRD-PTRS AT rifles
-Updated weapon reload times
Please unzip these files into your RadzyminV2.01 DATA\BASE folder and overwrite existing files
All ongoing V2.01 GC's should be able to continue

Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
It appears that is the FPools.txt file that has the error. It works with the other 4 files

Hi Teufeldk,
The V.201a should only be used with the V2.01 version of the mod, wich version are you using?
V2.01 should be visible in your right bottom corner.

Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
Though it seems that some Battle groups have an insane amount of points (some INF battle groups have over 4000) while some tank battle groups only have 200.
This might be caused by my constant reinstalling of the game - I dunno.
Does anyone else have that problem (if it is indeed a problem)

Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
I gave all BG's 5000 points to bypass the entire LSA point system (where you can't select what you want because of point restriction).
Wich armored BG has only 200 points (i probably forgot to add points to it)?
Wich campaign are you playing?
I'm currently working on a V3.01 version of the mod, if you have more feedback let me know.

Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
can you recall wich batlegroup had the low points, or post a screenshot of the battlegroup?
Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
I will check. Sorry for the long delay, have had some computer problems.
Another thing: changing the difficulty does not seem to change the amount of equipment in the force pools. Is this a feature or a bug? It would be nice with some reduced German force pools when playing against the AI

Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
Ahh, it seems the problem is on my end.
I have made a custom scenario and moved some of the units. This apparently changes their force pool points. I tried that with Panzer Gruppe Bayer for instance.
My bad

Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
No Problem, you can give points and change entry location in the scenario editor by pressing shift key when you click the map diamond icon in the scenario editor.
Re: LSA Radzymin44 mod
Seriously, I never knew that. Since when is that? Wait, don't tell me, I don't want to know.
