Thank you for sharing the titbit about the Swedish farming culture. Although I am not sure that it is correct. It says hundreds of years, and I think the tradition of painting outhouses red is a lot younger than that. With that said, one Swedish dream many has is to own their own house painted with the colour linked in below. A red cottage with white knuts. See picture below.

Thank you Orm, that is interesting.

You could put that house and outbuildings at any lake around here and it would fit right in. There would be no need to bring the trees either! But the flag might end up being a Finnish one most likely if it was not our national flag.
