Updating issue

Post by Gunner98 »

Trying to update to the latest version but the updater creates it's own folder '.../New folder' and puts the updated execute file in the wrong place. I cannot change the destination in the update interface

So the end result is the updated execute file and a few other bits are in '.../New folder' while the old execute remains in the original place and is still the '1.0.3.0' version. The launcher screen shows version 1.00.14 but the game screen shows 1.00.03 as does the display in game. Simply copying the new execute file into the original folder doesn't seem to work. The file properties of the two execute files show their respective version numbers and modified dates. When I re-update I get a message that I already have the latest version, but the game does not reflect that.

Not sure what do do next. Tx

Gunner-I just dragged the unzipped update file to the game's main folder and clicked on it. It updated without any problems. I'm showing the proper version number (1.00.14) on all screens, including the battle screen. I hope this helps.

When you cut and paste the content of the "new folder", in the game folder, the files were not overwritten?
