Can I make a request? Scrolling past the same announcements on Every. Single. Page. It gets pretty old.

At a minimum, can they not appear on Page 2/etc? Maybe also consider dropping them from sub-forums as well (ie, I just saw them on the main RTW forum, do I also need to see them on the RTW AAR and War Room forums)?

I agree. It is irritating.

It began when the forums migrated to the new software and I disliked the addtion of the announcements on all the pages of every subforum.

It is overkill and probably produces the opposite effect to what is intended as people will eventually tune them out.

Yes. Or at least only show them once per user.

Oh my goodness, yes. The placement of those announcements is quite annoying.
And yet none of us thought of mentioning before now.
Well, now that one brave soul has broken the ice, let's hope this brings about a change.

The Annoucements section has been cleaned up.

The WarPlan and Campaign Series: Vietnam updates from April are now longer cluttering up the place and the Flashpoint Campaigns Southern Storm post from May has been deleted!
