HELP Pease! UV Load Failure from Main Menu Page

Can't load my UV from any angle yet it is fully installed. Shortcut won't work. When disk is inserted, the"Install UV" option is available but not "Play". Darn game is installed but it's not recognizing it.

Try this. Put your CD in while holding down the Shift Key. After the CD drive light quites blinking open your folder with UV in it and double click on UncommonValor.exe and see if that will get it started. I usually replace the installed shortcut with one that points to that UncommonValor.exe instead.

i dont know if this is related but it might be.

i think ive pretty much installed the game, but wen i press play, i hear the torpedo sound effect, but then nothing happens.

wat do i do to fix it and make the game run so i can play it?

well there's the painfully obvious - and that's do a complete re-install and while patching it - test it in increments to see where the failure is
