Willie ( Axis ) plays Larry ( Soviets ) in FITE2 contest

That unit in the rear is a pain in the ass!

In FITE2 I have found that the soviet navy are unsinkable save for them running foul of a fixed shore battery, air power cannot sink them, artillery cannot sink them etc etc, it is a bug I believe.

The Germans have no defence against this as their own fleet takes around 20 turns to appear and even when they do you have to blast your way through the island grouping at Kussamare to even get anywhere and this takes a long time.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to deal with the soviet fleet them please advise?

It's now T8 round 1 and I'm watching the playback of Willie's moves and I notice that he's completely blown past my Pskov defenders and is in my backfield. D'oh.

Larry left the river line undefended in places allowing the Germans to get across and start battling for the city of Pskov!

Army group centre is having a tough time moving forward and is encountering still soviet resistance in the pritpet marshes.

Army group south still moving eastwards !!

Do you have any Stukas (Ju-87s)?

It's now T9 round 1 and I'm watching Willie's playback and as you can see in this image that he's approaching Kiev and the Dneper river. Last good place to stop his advance until about 150 Km to the east.

It's still T9 round 1 and Willie has blown past my Pskov defenders and is on his way to Leningrad even as we speak. His units are invisible but trust me, they are there.

So far Larry is doing a good job of slowing the German advance but he cant be everywhere at once, Army group south is on the outskirts of Odessa!!!

It's now T10 round 1 and this is what Murmansk looks like right now. I've managed to get several units trapped behind enemy lines and they are out of supply and the Germans are slowly killing them a little at a time. They will be gone in a couple of turns. Meanwhile I've built a simple screen which won't hold the Axis forces back for very long.

It's still T10 round 1 and this is what Odessa looks like right now. I'm surrounded by Axis units and they are already assaulting my positions. I'm thinking of evacuating my units via the sea and just give up the port and save a lot of my best units.

It's still T10 round 1 and this is what it looks like NE of Pskov right now. The Axis units have arrived at my MLR and have broken through it already and will soon be at the port of Leningrad. I've been railing units to this AO but obviously not nearly enough of them.
