This is looking exceedingly bleak. He has no breakthrough potential anywhere. His best bet is the grinding, but I don't see him having much success at curbing your OOB.
Still early days yet I suppose.
My opponent wanted to play an experienced player

. Not that I am that experienced but I told him I would give play. I see a great many items that need to be handled, from the German side of things, done differently. Supply is #1 item, #2 is defense setup, #3 resting and staying in controlled hexes for more CCP, #4 HQ's off the front line(causes extra losses if/when retreated), #4 attack order is out of whack a bit, although Turn 11 there was good progress done above Bryansk but was NON-threating because the units involved have no Combat prep, and most are Red for Fuel, and orange/yellow on fatigue. They won't go far next turn. If those units were rested, fueled for a turn with combat prep I would be sweating bullets. but these things come with time in the game & you get that by playing someone that is experienced. Not saying I am experienced though.
In his defense I really did not give him much of anything from Bryansk south to even touch to do damage on since turn 1. But up North the attack makeup is not correct, at least not how I would do it. We all start somewhere & all and all I think he has done pretty decent but need to nail down the extras to put that "
UMPH" into the German side. I feel my opponent is on the precipice of the next level of skill.
