RU choice to attempt HQ Support in Kiev

RU also will have choice for Adding Air Support

There will be no GER HQ Support

GER will add 1 AC to Northern Attack, none to Any others
RU will be able to Fire AA at the GER FTR3

GER has FTRs available to cover all attacks, RU has no available FTRs in the North and 1 in the South

RU can also Support attack on CAV with ART, if so wish

Please let me know RU's choices and I will resolve tonight.

Yes, please. Add HQ support to the Kiev defence.

USSR also add one LND3 as ground support, and one FTR2 as escort, to the Kiev defence. (The LND4 remain in reserve)
USSR aborts the air combat if the bomber is alone (unescorted).
FTR2 lands in 52,59 if it survives (2 hexes east of Kiev).
LND3 lands in Kursk if it survives.

USSR selects assault if we have the choice of combat table.

Edit: MIL is first loss in Kiev, and the AT is designated as the second loss unit.

Indeed. No AA used.

I am sorry that I missed that. Thank you for reminding me. :)

GER will add both FTR2 & FTR3 to Intercept RU FTR2 & LND3 in Kiev

Took me awhile to figure out why Axis does not receive greater advantage, until I realized we were using Back Up Fighters Optional. After consideration have decided to stay with 2 FTRs committed.

HQ Support roll was successful on a 1, but must have been done out of sequence, will need to back and walk back through ....

Next will be 47, 53 in the North

Currentley 3:1 +1 with GER choice of table going for Blitz

844 Fractional Roll fails
Attack Roll is a 3, modified to 4 fails to take hex
No Attackers destroyed but all are disorganized
Defender Loses 1 INF, will select 4-4 INF unless RU wants me to go back

That leaves Kiev currently at 3:2 with a +1

RU can choose Assault

Fractional Roll of 675 is a fail
So is the Attack roll of a 1 modified to 2

GER will destroy MOT DIV and 7-4 INF

No partisans.

Garrisons were tested in USSR, Poland, and Yugoslavia.
