Turn 13
Air Losses
Fighter/Fighterbomber losses still favoring the Soviets so far. (Of course the Rumanians were the biggest losses for the German side this turn) Going to try something different this time for directives

Turn 13
Losses
Weather & loss of Smolensk last turn & my retreat looks to have the Germans at their tether length, I hope. Germany could spring a trap at any time since this is turn 2 of rested PZ/moto on parts of the map which could get ugly.

My Air Directives for the Turn. Yup, took me exactly 2 seconds to clear and hit end of Air phase
. Super secretive Air Directives, don't tell anyone this secret. Will see what interception does this turn

Turn 13
Attacks near Stalino. I LOVE attacking German infantry. Other people can go for the tanks but the Infantry, in my opinion, is a better target. Am I right? Don't know don't care BUT it is my "thing" to do and I normally am successful at it.
Here is the first attack in the South.

Re: The RED Fires of Hell (HLYA as Soviets VS Unknown German)
Turn 13
Attack near Stalino number 2. Putting a hurt on Infantry Division #2 down here. Notice I have 3 total reserve activation WAY over doing the commitment in this area (2 in 1st photo and 1 in 2nd photo). I put reserves into action prior to attacking just in case the Germans have their units in reserve. Notice that Germans "should" have reserves set-up since reserve activation will "only" take place on a deliberate attack and Soviets are pretty much regulated to deliberate attacks in the first year. One of the sure ways Germans can put a blunt on Soviet attacks. So as Germany you should be doing this. As Soviets you should be setting up reserves during your attacks. Please note if Germany has a PZ in reserve, and it activates, you are pretty much going to get a failed attack in the early months of 41.

Turn 13
Attacks in Center #2.
Germany needs to pay attention to where they put their Infantry when coming into contact with Soviets that are fully rested, no fatigue, and full CP. The Soviets will hand you your butt if you do not do this correctly. You need to be aware to put your German infantry in defensive terrain. Putting in a forest, or dense or swamp hex is going to get a hold instead of a retreat. Please pay attention and do yourself a favor when playing both sides to be cognitive of this

Re: The RED Fires of Hell (HLYA as Soviets VS Unknown German)
Turn 13
North Attacks
Ok, I am getting ballzy here. The CAV that I have had sitting behind the line in the Reserve area has sprung into action. But before they spring Mr. Zakharov, who has been sitting and building up for a few turns, leads an attack on the German 30th Inf Division. Gotta love attacking German Inf divisions. this was a harder attack since this German div is in good order so it was an iffy attack. But it went throug. As such I let go the hordes of CAV(which should get beaten back).
I could be too ballzy too early here. But we will find out the mettle of my opponent in these situations.

Turn 13
Mind you these are REAL TURN photos. Opponent is doing turn 14 so, if he wishes, he can use these photos against me. Here is the push through, mad flood of Soviet CAV in this area.
See what the German reaction is. Should be able to clean up. As such we need to attack further North to support this push through. On to attacks further north

Re: The RED Fires of Hell (HLYA as Soviets VS Unknown German)
Turn 13
Attacks North
I do three attacks further north. 1st to inflict losses, 2nd to support the Reserve Front area, 3rd to slow these units down in MP's, 4th to force a retake of the hex. I push 42nd Tank Division into the GAP. So either the Germans can route it out, or surround it. Their choice since I will have options on the 2nd one. Please note that the PZ's, if in this area, have rested and this could get ugly. I will have to recon this area and Stalino area next turn to try and find those pesky PZ's and Moto units.
I 100% knew this attack would fail because of the counter icons were telling me. BUT I did it anyway, I have my reasons
