Ship graphic does not match design file

Since I haven't mastered creating my own graphics, the way I have been ensuring that the overhead graphic is not blank or identical to one of my starting designs has been to find an IDes file with the right turret arrangement and copy and paste it from [Turret0] to the end. This has worked fine ~20 times, but in one case the overhead view did not update. I have check the design file now in use; it is right but the graphic still shows the view before I edited it. I tried re-doing the copy/paste, deleting the design file and restoring it, and changing its name, then deleting and restoring. No joy. Anyone seen this?

Would likely need to see the save game to address this. If you can, please upload a save that shows this issue by going to your game's Save folders, zipping up the correct save game folder and posting it here, or leaving a link to it here using a file-sharing website like WeTransfer, MediaFire, Google Drive, Drop Box.
