Preferred mod idea, make the universe feel endless till lategame

Less hyperdrives. Early game less fast, midgame less fast and lategame faster and faster and faster. I would mod itmyself but only if changes would have effect on savegames.

You should try XL mod the next time you start a new game - it modifies warp similar to your suggestion. I strongly prefer it to vanilla warp specs.

Ideally we'd have a mod that modifies warp scaled to galaxy size, so small galaxies also take time to cover easily with late game warp drives. Maybe when code modding is a thing.

Or even better less jump range or it should be so that a ship can only fly through space if next planet is in jump range.
