Carrier Planes 55%?

What does "Carrier Planes 55%" and the number "6" mean on this carrier unit card? I couldn't find this in the manual.

6 is the strength of the air squadron (the same way it is 3 for the CV itself). If "hurt", the # will go down representing loses. It will get to back to strength at a port.

55% is the experience of the air squadron (same way the 60 is the experience of the naval unit). They go up separately. It since the air squadron will incur loses, the more replacements, the more it will tend to stay lower (a little).
