Max game speed

Rule the Waves III is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970. and will place you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age.

Max game speed

How is the max game speed available in a particular situation determined? Is it a result of computation intensity or a deliberate choice?

Many battles in RtW3 are simply boring, e.g. DD chases, and it would be great if higher speed settings were available even if enemy ships are near/spotted.

In addition, is Ultra Fast using the maximum computing speed of the computer? If not, it would be great to have an "unlimited" setting.
