What's the deal? TCP/IP, live online?

I don't think I would want to attempt online play. The turns take some time to play and I would think you would need some additional time to plan moves but maybe the testers have tried it.

Hi, Turn 1 often takes me 12 hours or more. After that I can do a turn in 20 minutes (or it might take me 4-8 hours dependig on what I choose to look at)
