there is a lot of PT boat engagements around Namlea....but we can't hit with our torpedoes...but they are causing chaos. Every engagement causes wear and tear, fuel and op point losses, etc....

It is a holistic attack, because our subs play a very important role whether it is intelligence, or DAMAGE! :D

And, very fittingly, it is those mad dashing PT boats that cause the skipper of the Yamato to stress her ship enough to cause her to founder....very sweet.

Our convoys split with the CVEs going closer to Haiphong, while the transports stay closer to Hainan, and a second CVE force leaves and makes Pakhoi giving the Japanese a sliver and they capitalize with only a few groups getting hit by our fighters. My bad...but nothing seriously lost and our two divisions are left unscratched and should land tomorrow without a problem. There is about four or five attacks...

Morning Air attack on TF, near Pakhoi at 71,59

Allied ground losses:
446 casualties reported
Squads: 5 destroyed, 26 disabled
Non Combat: 2 destroyed, 11 disabled
Engineers: 0 destroyed, 1 disabled

Too bad about those transports getting hit but that does happen in the game.

But I really like how your PT boats scared the Yamato and a destroyer to death!
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o

IJN weakened substantially this last month, an IJN CVL isn't listed yet. These are victories that were enabled by our mad landing at Quinhon and the followup at Soc Trang:
