Soviet winter hits Feb 26, 1943???

Playing a MP game and the Soviet winter effect just hit Feb 26, 1943. Why so late?

Had that happen as well. Used to be always or almost always in '42. Is this change from last patch?

No change, there's a high chance of it happening in every winter turn once the USSR has entered the war, but a high chance does not guarantee it happening in the first winter, or second, or even ever.

I believe its 75% per winter turn so the chance of it not firing assuming you advanced far enough into the USSR the first winter is pretty low.

I't funny have this never happended before but occured twice in recent games. I guess similar to a hard way 6 or 8 bet!
