From what I'm reading, the P-51H version wasn't until 1947ORIGINAL: RyanCrierie
ORIGINAL: Admiral DadMan
It is a carrier-based variant of the North American P-51D Mustang that was fitted with a tail hook and tested on USS Shangri-La in late-1944 called the F1J-1 Seahorse
I have the data on the proposed North American Liquid Cooled VF they proposed to the USN, it was basically a modified version of the P-51H.

"Scraps of Paper - in a World on Fire" Scenario 127 v1.5
Various errata corrected, such as incorrect device quantities (18 SK AS Radar is a bit overkill...)

Check Candesa/Legaspi Class xAK, art seems wrong.

I'm not too bothered about the xAK/xAP, as it was set that way in the DaBigBabes scenario I used as a base. For such an obscure ship, I can suspend my disbelief.
The Papuan Inf Section of the Papuan Inf Bn is a bit of a curiosity, as it also comes unmodified from the DaBigBabes scenario. I'll have a look at this.

Working on fixing some incorrect ship arrival dates (among other things), and...
MORE British carriers. HMS Eagle is not sunk covering Operation Pedestal in August 1942, and HMS Furious also makes her way to the Pacific about that time as well. She can also get a flight deck rebuild.
Other things I'm thinking about:
-Reducing the insane amount of Political Points each turn
-Pushing out the arrival dates on many new ships so that not so much naval steel is available so early in the game

I like the idea of pushing out the arrival dates. No all-out battles at January 1942...

Indeed.
New thoughts on British CVs:
After the loss of Courageous and Glorious, and the pounding of Illustrious and Formidable by Stuka dive bombers, the Admiralty decides that un-armored carriers are a liability in European waters, and so orders Eagle and Furious to the Far East station, with Ark Royal and Bounty going to Australia -to keep them out of harm's way, and as a show of commitment to the rest of the Empire.
Illustrious and her sisters make their presence felt in the MED/LANT throughout 1942 and into 1943 before transiting to the Pacific.

More british CVs at the Pacific is always a good idea.

Indeed. I just don't want to over-do it.ORIGINAL: traskott

So I think I've settled on this:
Eagle: In port at Trincomalee
Furious: In port at Perth
Hermes: Undergoing re-fit in Simonstown (Cape Town) until 31JAN42 as she was historically
Ark Royal: Hunting surface raiders in the South Atlantic until early JAN42
Bounty: In port at Sydney

UPDATE: Scraps of Paper - in a World on Fire / Scenario 127
UPDATE: Scraps of Paper is undergoing a moderate rewrite to include the aforementioned British carriers.
I've also embarked on the incomplete task of assigning the proper C.O. for as many major fleet units as I can determine.
Also also, I am engaged in some cleaning up of upgrades and rebuilds of certain ships.
Und, I am revisiting the political point tsunami that I created.
Comments, questions, and feedback welcome.

Scraps of Paper - in a World on Fire / Scenario 127
Wow, it has been over 4 years since I've touched this. I will be reviewing and reconsidering some of the things that were done in the over the development timeline.
One of the things I'm considering is removing HMS Eagle and Hermes and substituting HMS Courageous and Glorious. In this timeline, Eagle and Hermes are sunk early on, and Courageous/Glorious are moved to SEAC.
Additionally, I'm considering:

Additionally, I'm considering:
- USS Ranger will delay to November 1944 as was historical. The only real reason to bring her in so early was the activation of VT-4.
- Wasp and Hornet will deploy in April 1942 and June 1942 in a flip-flop of arrivals. (Enterprise can launch Doolittle B-25's, lol)
- Langley will deploy in May 1942

I never saw this before but . . .
At one point I was going through the US Pacific fleet to see which units withdrew that did not withdraw in the game. Almost all of the original 4 pipers in the fleet were removed unless they were sunk. Those that were sunk, I was going to remove them as well in an adapted mod of someone else's mod. The same thing with the S-Boats as well. Some other ships were removed as well, including the Boise and Nevada which were in the invasion forces at Normandy.
Also, lower the cost of the Japanese subs, maybe even converting the late Army cargo subs to Naval subs . . .
