Bug report

Post by Von Cone-on »

Hi to all,
Just thought I'd report what seems to be a bug. Leningrad is surrounded & cut off for several turns, yet Lo & behold 2 brand new KV-1E factories miraculously appear both factor 5 & up & running. Has anyone else experienced this! Shouldn't they appear in an alternate destination or not at all???
Cheers Von Cone-on[:)]

Not that one. I play against AI, most on soviet side, but the germans never encircled
Leningrad (but they try it hard every time[:D]). But, if we talk about bugs: in all versions
(now playing 3.3, date: 03/42, will observe it) the computer doesn´t give me new land-
lease-stuff! I have to change the factory-control to "computer" for some turns, then
i get Grants for Valentines (or Shermans for Grants). Not much trouble, but... never
read it in this forum.

Greetings.

In the book The 900 days the author writes about the tank factories in Leningrad building tanks and then rolling them right to the front without even painting them.

I can't remember exactly when they started making tanks, but it would have been before 42'.

Yup. In Stalingrad, too. In Carells "Unternehmen Barbarossa" is a report about the meeting of the german panzers with sowjet tank troops fresh from Leningrad (in the mass
KW-II). After the battle they took some 30 german 3,7-cm-projectiles out of the armor
of such a beast[X(]. Mad situation!

Greetings.
