I had a verbal order to move the militia in Shanghai two hexes to the NW to stop the partisan from moving into the forest. Of course I forgot to do so, and of course the partisan moved into the forest.
This, of course, adds an extra layer of fun. Chaos, and confusion, sometimes occurs when local commanders has more important things to do than to obey orders.

Re: A Blazing World (4-player game)
I sometimes forget orders I give myself.
I must say though the Axis commanders have played very well this first year. The speed of the collapse of both France and the middle east have left the British and French people stunned. Churchill is barely hanging on as Prime Minister.
But the British people say fight on, and we shall see what the second year of war brings.

I also forget my own orders and plans sometimes.
I have a text file which I always use to plan my impulse. I write those orders down for the next impulse. I don’t know it’s possible to forget something that is on top of the file I open before I write down what I’m going to do

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.
