Striking Plane won't Launch if assigned Escort is Present

This occurs with every scenario:

Assign an escort a/c to a striker.
Activate the strike mission.
The escort(s) will launch, but the striker won't. (If you are look quickly, you can see the striker(s) being added back to the base total of planes, i.e. 3 goes back to 4.)
Meanwhile, the escort launches and simply loiters around the base, waiting for the striker to launch, which never happens.

Try it on any scenario you like. The same thing occurs. I have yet to see it work properly with the new release.

If no escort is assigned, then the striker launches as usual.

ADDITIONAL:

Apparently, this issue is somehow tied to the scenario conversion routine. If a scenario is newly created 64-but platform then things appear to work normally.

If, however, you attempt to convert an older scenario, or run an older scenario with escorts, this is when it occurs.

I also noticed that many of the altitude settings as arranged in the Flight Editor for various missions from older scenarios were somehow altered. I don't know if this is an off-shoot from something that was done during the conversion, or if it was a new formula and it is intentional.

In any case, it is beyond anything that I can do to test it any further.

It's weird bc I've been able to replicate it, making a scen from scratch and the issue is the same.

If you press "Create or Update Flight Plans" all works nice

This is weird indeed. Did you mean to say that you DID replicate it, or that you couldn't? If you can't, then I can send you one where my escorts are loitering around while the striker sits at the base. I just figured that since it was happening EVERY TIME for me, that you wouldn't need it. In fact, starting from scratch may be better.

As I said, at this point I'm not sure if it is limited to the conversion of old scenarios to the new system, or if it affects all of the scenarios.

Sorry for my bad explanation, I was able to replicate the issue of the escorts taking off and waiting the strikers.

I'm having this issue too with an old scenario. I also have several other missions without escorts where only about 1/2 the planes launch. The unlaunched aircraft have flights in the ATO listed as "taking off" but on the air ops screen they are all "parked". Am I missing a setting somewhere? This scenario worked a year ago so I assume something has changed along the way that broke me. I'm just not sure where to look.

And I don't know if it matters, but on the ATO I see for most flights:
Desired Min Assigned Ready
3 0 4 3

I don't see where it thinks that 4th assigned aircraft is.

I can also confirm that selecting the create/update flight plans fixes things. This doesn't help me in this case because this is a computer side.

Is this issue expected to be fixed in .9? It wasn't specifically called out in the release notes (aside from "Missions involving aircrafts were no longer working"). I loaded my scenario and ran it and only the escorts for the strike mission are launching. All the strikers are assigned to groups but the groups are still "parked". I have attached my scenario and a save. If you run for a while the red side missions will trigger (or load the save where they already have). "CV - Raid 2" and "Keflavik - RAF Strike 1" have the problem. It looks like with the .9 a couple strikers do launch (before none did) but most are still parked.
