Confused port and starboard?

Post by thedoctorking »

I've got a ship in combat, and the enemy has destroyed all the secondary armament on the port (left) side. So I pointed the starboard (right) side at the enemy and for several minutes, didn't see any secondary gun shots. So I turned the ship the other way and lo! and behold! my secondary guns were shooting.

Arrh, maties! Lubberly!

Thanks for the report.

Have not noted this particular issue in the current releases; if you have a save game showing this (for this time, or if you see it again) please post it here as that would really help us to determine what might be going on.

I've noticed that other ships are correct, it was probably just that one ship or one mount. And of course, I don't remember now what it was, sorry. If I notice it again, I'll post a save (now that I also know how to use 7z to get the compressed folder down under 10MB). I do remember that it was a CL using its secondary guns that were probably in casemates since it was early in the game.
