In Russia, Soviets counter-attack hard following the winter. A Romanian Tank Corps is destroyed, two other Infantry Corps, and AT-Guns hold the line. Note the AT in the North Near Kursk. Proper positioning would require infantry to flank the AT on either side, but with tank and mechanized reserves any that move forward will get attacked. The purpose of AT is to force enemy movements in sub-optimal ways as they have almost no attack. AT guns are susceptible to enemy Armies so important to shift them away from those. OKH has moved panzers north to avoid AT guns, but the AT event fired so 3 more battlions will be ready soon. USSR needs to purchase another HQ, too many units.

USSR is slowly regaining the lost amount of troops from Barb, but with good weather coming the Whermacht will have a field day. They have panzer 3, Soviets only panzer 2. The War is far from over.

In NA, Rommel shatters the second British Army. No defences left. Total collapse and retreat. UK can do nothing on 200 MPP a turn.

Indian HQ has finally arrived. Indian troops will retire to the Red Sea, board AVL (they have been investing from turn 1 in Amphibious Warfare). British Troops will retreat, hopefully DAK will follow and they can be cut off from the Sea!!

Germans have made a grave mistake. Where is the Kriegsmarine? US has been sending convoys to the USSR via Murmansk at a rate of 200 MPP a turn. Not one single sub has raided the convoy line. Must be sunbathing off the coast of SA, but hey you can have the 15 MPP a turn convoy.

USA after feeding the world collects 668 MPP. Need to hit Industrial 5 soon. USA feels like it is a bit low on funds, but the Germans are pressing on Murmansk so will have to send as much Aid there until it falls.

USA factories need to produce air units and armor!!

USA settles, awaits HQ and air support. Prepares for Invasion of the Isle. No Doubt Kreigsmarine are lurking SOMEWHERE? but where????? USA Carriers have arrived but need more support. Need to order some more destroyers. Sheesh need to get that marine bombers ordered and in Ireland soon!!!

Australia has been completely abandonded. Doesn't give MPP cause the convoy is dead. Somehow managed to sneak every unit out and into the Mid East. Hah! Gotta take out Syria and Turkey. USAF refits with level 2 ground attack and will soon pummel the Syria / Ottoman armies holding out.

German Morale lowered to 115%. Need to get it below 110% to negate the bonus. Sunk the Graf Zepplin in port, felt good as USA to hit back.

In WaW commonwealth units only surrender if they are within the borders of the surrendering nation.

I could be wrong about Australia though!!! The new patch may have changed things. You'll here me complaining if they do Surrender

Soviets heavy Tanks counter-attack, severely wound an army, tank, and Corps, but no kills. Stalin receives a reinforcemnt, and upgraded Tactical bombers provide some nice chip damage. German AT crews post up South of Moscow and Panzers mass for the first wave. Soviet AT is upgrade an will soon be rushed forward for the slaughter. Vlad still holds, and Russians collect exactly 900 MPP. No idea what the Axis Navy is trying to do. For the second time this game (minus the soviet winter), Germany loses more than they make. That's big.

USA still confounded how to approach the invasion of the Isle. Awaiting support for HQs, but they are stuck in America still not on transports because I ran out of money after buying AA upgrades. Greece swings towards the allies after heavy diplo investment. AT ~80% after this hit. Will be nice to divert some Axis resources towards Greece. If Greece joins on Allied turn, will be able to upgrade units / increase supply. Having an air-base to cut off the Dardenelles and trap the German army will be important.

A tank is destroyed, but the road to the Caucasus is left wide open. Stalin rush orders shattered divisions and armor. Hopefully the Allies can take Turkey, quick build some airbases and deploy USAF strat bombers to destroy supply!

Soviets, despite raking in 915 MPP still feel like they are low on funds, every turn it seems they don't have enough troops to purchase. The Red Air Force has recovered some strength and delivering good chip damage, but needs level 2 before it can really start wrecking havoc. Where is the Luftwaffe???? Not in Russia for sure!! Not in England, or at least must be grounded. I don't understand WHERE all of Elvis navy and airforce is?? Is there a pincer happening on the US Navy? The Russians need winter to come, re-fit tanks, have some spare MPP too re-invest in IT and PT. This war will go the distance no doubt.

Elvis has left the Mid East, equipped with strong Ottoman troops, but no armor. Indian AVL prepare for Rommel. US airforce delivers some bombing runs, receives another Strat Bomber to level some juicy locations. Greece recieves a measly 4% diplo hit, but treks closer to the Allies. Preparation are made. It's the COMMONWEALTH that is the strength of the United Kingdom and each colony has brought troops. India rakes in a whopping 155 MPP after IT reached.

Oh wow did not know that! Does it count for all Minors or just for Commonwealth? And what about Indian troops?

Elvis must have got a diplo hit, re-arranges his Turkish troops and avoids an encirclment from Indian Troopers. Indian receives a S&I hit on AW, so will wait one more turn for level 4 amphibious invasion. Greece swings Allied and pre-pares for war!! Good news! A Balkan front will be opened. US Strat Bombers level the trains heading to East turkey so hopefully Ottoman troops will be undersupplied. There is a "Secondary Supply" in East Turkey - is that supply 8 or 10, can't remember. German AA is deadly so USAF avoids them and hits small towns.

Honestly, Allies jumped the gun on the invasion of Syria. Poor planning, even poorer supply, un-upgraded troops and un-commanded Indians led to a motley assortment of losses. USAF bombers decimated by Axis Anti-Air and will have to spent a turn for R&R. Maybe they can visit the Holy Land's sites and heal their spiritual souls.

UK sends an Australian core to take Yemen. Clutch. One-tapped the garrison. Getting the -5% global morale boost helps just a bit! Every small action counts as allies. DAK appears to have stopped their push back in West Africa. Will need to send a Strat Bomber to Scout. Maybe a limited invasion of Tripoli could yield some good results. British have not invested in Technology and still do not have armored warfare!! Ah need MPP!!! The Commonwealth still holds strong and continues to advance on Syria. Need to cap that country.

Ottomans defend heroically in mountains. Hard to advance on such well entrenched, vet troopers.

Kreigsmarine is no-where to be seen. Allies, forgetting that some Axis surface ships were seen in Denmark, pushes northwards and probably into a trap. AVL prepare for an invasion of the UK. Following the surrender of Yemen, its a good time to invade!

Allied troops prepare to invade on the Scottish / English division. Goal is to utilize the AVL units ability to attack from the coastline (paid about 70 MPP per transport!!), destroy the corps and the garrison, and land US Tanks. US paratroops and AV from Ireland will cut off North Soctland from the defending Germans. Additional US troops wait in the pacific to pounce.

US Reached Industrial Tech 5 and all oil fields and mines are up and running. Collected 1170 MPP as US (reduced to 834 after sending supplies to USSR). Marine bombes have been purchased to deter an invasion of California. Next turn the US will ramp up production of the USAF to ensure air-dominance.

Hawaii under Siege, alone. Japanese Veteran carriers blast helpless Marines. Roosevelt nervous about re-election as US Pacific Dominance doesn't wane, it craters. Non-existent.

Soviets low on troops, but counter attack near Moscow hard. Axis armor has no doubt transferred South. There used to be three axis armored divisions west of Moscow, but retreated, some moved South. Soviet AT moved forward, destroyed a panzer, a corps, and wounded an Axis AT. No follow up mechanized to attack the German HQ, however. German Air defends against the Red Air force inflicting huge casualties on the outdated, unescorted bi-planes. Grounded!!

In the South, Axis mop up Soviet straggles. Some divisions are rushed, re-formed in North Caucasus. Axis didn't push as hard as I would have thought this turn. Most of their armor is below strength 5. Going to re-fit soon. Where are the heavy cats? Normally they show up around August '42. Hopefully mud hits soon. Soviets are on the BRINK of folding. The Rhyzev counter attack was a bold move to force Axis re-positioning. Need one more winter. Need Level 3 tanks. Stalin worried. Allied invasions in Mid-East have NOT forced the Axis to re-deploy any troops.

Stalin, late, ordered new engineers. Should have ordered a second and bought the destroyed one many turns ago. Oh well.

Soviets collect 965 MPP, but soon Vlad will fall and that number will go down. Not enough MPP to purchase another chit in IT and PT, but may do that during winter. Depends on how the Ottoman Campaign goes. Funny how it works as Allies, the strategy is so intertwined between the major players. Soviets fight on!
