Convoys

I am the Allies in our PBEM game and it is November 21 1941. The Axis have not yet invaded the USSR. When I click on the UK and the convoy button it indicated that there was 15 oil from Iraq and 5 from Canada. However clicking on UK Build button shows that only 15 oil was received. There were no u-boat attacks so I assume that means I did not have enough MM's to carry the 5 oil from Canada. The program must choose what to ship when there isn't enough MM's. Have I got this correct?

It is either that, not enough MMs, or another possibility is that Canada ran out if oil in its pool. If an active minor producing oil gets to zero oil (Canada and Romania for example), it will stop exporting for a turn to build its reserves back.

Canada had 175 oil so there must not have been enough MMs since there were no convoy attacks by u-boats that turn.

Were you sending oil to Canada?

I am not sure how the convoy system will operate when you are using more MM than you have.
Not sure what is decides to NOT route.

That's a very good question I have to check on.
