Air intercept mission - commit single flight PER target

So, when I set up an air intercept mission, invariably ALL the aircraft assigned to the mission will take off to intercept a single target, but if I set the max aircraft allowed to fly the mission lower, then ONLY that many aircraft will launch, and they might still go after the same target. Is there any way to commit a subset of aircraft per target, ergo, for an intercept mission to send one flight per incoming bogey?
