Suddently got over -550% research on basic tech (troop transport)
Gizurean - slowest research. Only one music mod.

Did you notice at all if there was some research-related event that triggered at about the same time?

Got this bug again. I think it is related to loot from raiding independent colonies.

Bug is still present - 1.2.0.5 Public Beta

It is somewhat connected with raiding.

Happens exactly when you get certain tech as a loot and you currently researching it.
To reproduce just raid the planet with 1st Raider fleet and if you get the same tech as a reward you get the bug.
