AI still too aggressive with mortars

Post by Searry »

The AI doesn't seem to treat their mortars like artillery. They get way too close and always get destroyed. Instead they should try to deploy somewhere with high concealment and start shooting.

Searry,

Thanks for the information. If you have or get a save game or two showing the behavior, that is an excellent help to us troubleshooting the situation.

Interestingly the game did not save the end of this scenario but instead it's the last part even though I saved the game when it was over. Anyway, I saw the AI moving mortars way too close for the whole game and even at the end almost assaulting into the city with them.

Here's several saves from the High Sticking scenario.
