There seems to be an issue with the mandatory trade. The Spanish resource going to Germany is missing from the trade list.

The traded Spanish resource was listed at the RTB step, so it seems it disappeared sometime during this end of turn. Weird.

Impulse #1 (Axis)

Germany aligns Yugoslavia. No US reaction (7).

Land: Germany, Japan
Combined:
Naval: Italy

No Port Strikes. No Naval Air.

Naval movement:
Italy:
TRS + INF Djibouti -> Malta
TRS + AA Haifa -> La Spezia
2 SUB -> North Atlantic 3-box
SUB -> Persian Gulf 1-box
4 BB + 2 CA + 2 CL -> Arabian Sea 3-box
2 CA -> East Med
2 CA + CL -> Red Sea

Italy will search in the Persian Gulf. Any Allied air added there?

However, Italy first search in the North Atlantic.

No luck in the Persian Gulf (8-5).

Final search is in the Arabian Sea.

Only two Axis attacks this impulse. Versus the Soviet force SW of Smolensk, and against the Soviet rearguard in Poland.

Using defensive HQ support in Poland seems like a good idea, so I am going with that.

One 5-strength German LND2 fly support to the southern attack. I assume that the Soviet AA will be used here.

SW of Smolensk the Soviet air can try to interfere. Current odds is 51:7, or automatic. Germany expect to have +2 on the die roll. Will they fly?

Edit: In order to advance the game I decline to add any Soviet air. With a long turn ahead and only 4 air units remaining it seems like a forlorn hope to use any air here.

The second attack is a success as well. Although, it is a bit disappointing that no loss occurred when the odds were so nice. :)
