Game crashes in Scenario Editor

Recently edited the TWW2.0 series in the XML editor. After saving my edits, I open the .gam file in the scenario editor, but when I select "deployment", the game freezes and TOAW has to be force closed. Specifically, when in the deployment mode in the Scenario Editor, when I select "Forces", the forces box pops up for a split second and disappears. Thereafter, when I try to select a unit on the map, the game freezes. Has anybody else run into this issue?

I tried searching the message board for a similar topic, but was not able to find anything, so apologies if this has been asked. I inserted a few new formations and removed others in the XML editor, and my guess is this is leading to the issue. I would be happy to post the scenario file or any further details.

The edits to a .gam file have to be exact in terms of staying with the xml format. Be sure lines with angle brackets are closed, for example.

The other thing is, extra spaces or other non-visible line clutter can cause problems for TOAW.

Usually best to edit a .sce file and let the editor save it back as a .gam file.

Thanks. I was able to get it to work...there were issues with deployment that I fixed. Eventually, the game worked fine.
