Surface Warfare Tutorial 1.3 - Events Not Triggering

I'm doing Surface Warfare Tutorial 3 and I think I'm encountering a problem, possibly a bug. I get the text box telling me to temporarily deactivate my radar and allow my ESM to identify the radar on the unknown aircraft. It gets identified as a Big Bulge A, along with a Box Tail - obviously making the contact a TU-95RT Bear D - but it never classifies the type of aircraft, never marks as hostile, and no further events occur. I've tried approaching the aircraft and continuing my route, activating my radar again and not doing so, and marking the aircraft as hostile manually, but nothing further occurs - no target drones, no damage or targets to hit, no chances to open up on the Bear. I've run the tutorial several times, twice waiting until the 4-hour sim time window expires, but nothing happens.

Ideas welcome. FYI I'm running the Steam Open Beta.

Edit: To be clear, I'm asking this here in case there is a simple action I can perform to move this tutorial along, that doesn't require involving support.

Do you have a save? The only aircraft I see in tutorial 1.3 is an allied Bear. There should be no need to detect it, it should already be sharing its position with you.

I keep forgetting I can save, I’ll run it again and post the save. I’m following the message box instructions to detect it, but there is no type and it’s yellow, I also had to turn on the 3d search radar to get the altitude so I don’t think I’m getting any datalinked telemetry. I’ll post a save and we’ll go from there, thanks for the help.

I reran it in Release branch (ie non-beta) and it identified the aircraft as hostile and triggered a further event immediately, so I guess it's just that tutorial that needs a little tweaking in the Open Beta. I'll report it in tech support.

Sorry, misread your original post. I read it as sub tutorial 1.3 not surface warfare. I'll take a look at your save later.

Just wanted to add that I've encountered the exact same thing on the Steam open beta branch. Once instructed to turn off radar and wait for ESM detection, no further events fire. If I crank time compression up to maximum the scenario will eventually time out and end. I can provide a save if needed.

What version are you on? It gets classified via ECM in all of my tests in B1307.14.

However I am getting the same behavior in the 64-bit branch. Looks like it's a bug, and not a scenario issue. Will relay to the rest of the team.

I think it might have been something like 1319.1, but I'm afraid I'm really not sure. I'm on 1323.1 now and the behavior persists (ie the aircraft doesn't get classified).

FWIW, I just bought the game (v1.06 - Build 1328.9) and downloaded from Steam - the bug still seems to exists as this tutorial is still behaving as previously described when I tried to play it:
