Odessa

Post by Adam1988 »

hey, I have a problem. how to set up strategic raids on the city? I play as Germans and it's 1942. Odessa is cut off, but I can't launch air strikes on the port. I play with an AI assistant. I'm playing against a live opponent.

I can set "Naval ops" but I don't know if it does anything.

You have a bigger pr0blem then that as its 1942 and you havnt taken Odessa yet. I dont think the Stategib bombing will help, Do you have it isolated from the sea? Find all you big siege guns and mortar's get them transferred into your attacking HQ's, also your pioneer unit and flame panzers and get them attached to your attacking infantry div's. From what I have heard on here make Gen. Model in charge of your army hq's thats doing the attack. There are several post on the forum about cracking Odessa. good luck

When you use AI Air Assist, it will always erase your air directives and set up their owns. So in order to effectively do naval patrol you will have to have the AI air disabled.
