Errr, this may be dumb, but...
is this game something build on the game-engine of "History Line 1914-18 (aka
"The great war")" from the german label Blue-Byte?!

The game your refering to only got published in Germany I believe.

It didnt get very good reviews but I wiould have liked to give it a go.

Jowood were going to publish it but it got scrapped

Got it. I own "HL 1914-18". It is the same as "Battle Isle", not the jewel in my collection.

Trench, or The Great War, or whatever the game will ultimately be released as is being built from scratch, no holdover from any other old WW1 program.

Ups... i think you know "HL14-18"? I guess it would be a hard job to stretch that game-
engine[:D]?! In the old days the reviews where very good for that game... maybe Blue-
Byte gave some bucks (or SSI-titles?) to those in the magazines. Just kidding.

I can remember that it was sold under "The great war" in the outer-german countrys.
That is why i thought it would be "the same". Anyway, i am looking forward for that
game!
