unable to load PW data

Had trouble getting the game to download and after finally getting the game down loaded I get unable to load PW data

First time I down loaded the game in put folders all over my C drive added the game icon to the drive. I now have all the folders in on file.

First time I down loaded the game in put folders all over my C drive added the game icon to the drive. I now have all the folders in on file.

I would suggest reinstalling into just one folder per update and PBEM game. By reinstalling instead of just moving things around, that should help keep the registry up to date.

Still having same issue after deleting all previous downloads of the game.

Still getting error Unable to PW data.

I can see PWfiles

Are there any others PW files?

Is that before of after download? Today I delated all the files and folders that I downloaded related to WIP-AE. i did not reboot after doing this. The computer is off.

I will delate and uninstall the files and programs, reboot and download again, then download again.

After you reinstall the game, reboot your computer. Before you do anything else. There are some files that need the reboot....GP

Following the advise of bdt64, I deleted all file/folders and removed the short cut from the desktop. I also emptied the Recycle Bin, then did a computer restart.

Downloaded [PC] Update v1.01.26a and [PC] Installer v1.00.79 WarinthePacificAdmiralsEdition-SetupRelease-v10079DR.zip. I did not download the Installer the
first time.

The download created the Matrix folder and all related files/folders as best as I can tell. The short cut brings up the Game Menu, while I can play the game my
problem now is that when I go to the Editor there are no scenarios listed.

How can I access the information in the Editor. What did I do incorrectly and how can I correct it?

As a side note, I am running Window 7 and had to install a new hard drive after my old one crashed hard and lost of the data on it.

I'm glad that the file error is fixed. In the editor you have to open up the scenario folder. It's been a while since I played around with the editor....GP

The Editor program will be in the same "Matrix Games" folder as the game. Find the .exe file and create a shortcut by right-clicking on the program name. Move the shortcut to your desktop and you can access the editor anytime by clicking on it.
