Likelihood and Value of a Sale?

Post by Icechuck »

Hey all, I've been a lurker for a while and been learning WitE2. I've been meaning to take the plunge on WitP:AE but the price is obviously off-putting. Does this game have a history of going on sale during the holidays, and if so, by how much? Thanks!

In the past it has. This past year it was on sale during the summer and it was last Christmas. I purchased WiP:AE, War in the East for my son last Christmas for about $20 US each.

I imagine I'll hold off then until hopefully a Black Friday - Christmas time sale.

Usually, there is a Christmas sale and the game goes for circa $20.00.

BTW, the full price now is $80. With all this money creation since 2020, I thought the full price would be $100 or more by now.

It definitely looks it, and I'm going to keep reading AARs in the meantime. I'm super excited for the sale and to really sink my time (and probably the poor ships under my command) into it!

If you want to read a very interesting AAR, look up Greyjoy's AAR . . .

I'm currently in the midst of the Hibiki AAR and the ongoing Bottleneck mod AAR. But I'll add it to the list.
