Game not recognizing destruction of bomb target?

Post by thedoctorking »

This scenario had the objective of destroying a bombardment target. The target icon was located about halfway down the west coast of Sardinia, but when my cruisers got close to the coast up at the north end of the island (at most 60 nm from the target icon), they found a bombardment target and destroyed it. But the game is not giving me the "mission complete" message. Is the text in the mission as displayed on the objectives tab (within 100 nm of the objective) incorrect? And if the only bombardment target that counts is the one right at the big target icon, why are there other targets round about?

I continued to play the scenario, sailed the cruisers down the coast to the target icon, destroyed the bombardment target found there, and got the big "mission accomplished" poster. So that bombardment target up at the north end of the island was clearly extraneous.

Have to say, I've never seen that precise mission before, so if it's a new addition it could be buggy?

Usually it's just the one target that spawns in more or less the same place every time.

At this point, my guess would be that the game only recognises the 'regular' target and not the 'new' targets?
