Impulse #2 (Axis)

Five attack rolls on SUBs, with their bad defence, and all five rolls were saved.

Land moves in all fronts

Debark
CW ARM and MOT div to Normandy
CW 2xMIL to Greece

Invasion
CW MAR and INF to Normandy

Land combat
Attacks in SW France, Normandy (invasion hex) and 2x Ukraine

From the first picture you can see situation in France.

If no notional is chose, odds in Normandy are +9,5B.
In SW France odds are +27,5B

In northern attack Allies have 2x HQA, ARM, MECH, AA and MOT div with invading MAR and INF. Allies have plenty of planes and 15 points of SB available.

Germany must choose if they want to use notional

Attack in Ukraine and Greece situation

Northern attack is +27,9B, I assume no air will go there in any case, that attack has AA gun too.

Southern attack is +11,5B

I really dislike the notional defence information form. This because the most important information, in my humble opinion, is missing from it. What the attack, and defence, factors are. It is pretty much a guess selecting that just guessing in the current odds. Bah.

Note that this is a critique on MWIF, and not on my honourable opponents.

Include the notional, or not, as you think is best for defender. Please. No need to calculate it. Just take a guess at it.

I think ”no” is better (9,5 vs 10,3)

Though I’m not sure how it affect if Allies or Axis use ground support or SB

Yes. That is why the attack odds is so important when deciding notionals.

Anyway, It is not important enough to cause further delays. One is as good as the other.
