Empires in Turmoil DLC and MP matchs coming soon

Hello everybody. So I am happy to see that the upcoming DLC Empires in Turmoil for Strategic Command WW1 is going to be released on November 16, 2023.

I was privileged to be asked to participate with beta testing of some of the scenarios by Ryan O'Shea (BiteNibbleChomp) last summer. Quickly we got on board Michael Small (mdsmall) to SinglePlayer and Multiplayer test 4 of the scenarios extensively.

I concentrated mainly on 3 of the 4 available to me:

Shadow of the Tsar (Russian Civil War 1919 to 1921) MP and SP
Lion of Africa (East Africa Campaign 1916 to 1918) MP and SP
Balkan League (1st Balkan War 1912) MP and SP

These scenarios are all vastly different from each other. I do plan on covering these and the others at a future date.
There are also plans for 2 MP matches on my channel soon. One with Lion of Africa and the other with Shadow of the Tsars.
When we get things underway with the above mentioned matches and set schedules, I will make an announcement for each one. Also I do plan to do some 1st Look type of vids for some of the scenarios of the DLC.

Thanks to Ryan and the rest of the Fury Software Staff for bringing me on board to beta test these fabulous games.
A big thanks too to Michael Small for all the deep knowledge of SC-WW1 that he brought to the table.

Old Crow...I do believe I notice an old 'Strategic Air Command' patch on your wall sir! (on this Veteran's day I wish to thank you for your service)

It turns out we are of the same alumni in this regard...I was a radar tech on an SLBM surveillance system (I was also a radar tech at Thule AB [ICBM surveillance into North pole/Siberia/Arctic USSR]); I too am extremely fond of 'Geoduck' which I have eaten only once.


PS: For those a bit confused in this matter, these were 'Priority A1 DoD [USAF] resources' and some four decades ago this was an extremely serious undertaking with duress codes, line badges, authorized use of deadly force signs everywhere, etc.. Times have changed indeed!

I was never in the USAF. I did however work on and near many AFBs as a civilian contractor. So how I got that SAC patch was interesting. Back in the early 90's, I was tasked to work in Great Falls, Montana, where Malstrom AFB is located. So winters there can be brutal...worst in fact then areas in certain parts of Alaska at times, where I was a resident. So on the way there, I stopped at an Army/Navy surplus store in Idaho Falls, Idaho to find a parka. Bought a surplus Airman's Heavy Jacket for a great price. Later, in the motel, I tried it on again and was fiddling with the zipped pockets...and found the SAC patch and some old receipts. Pretty friggin cool man.
