Anyone Needing SPWAW ver 6.1?

Post by bchapman »

If anyone is needing a CD of ver. 6.1, send me an email with all the necessary info and I will try to get one to you. Sorry, can't send the Mega Campaign though. :) I think most everyone has either downloaded ver 6.1 or bought a CD, but I know there are some of us that still live in areas that aren't accessable by DSL or other fast internet connections. :(

I've been trying to download the 5.2 to 6.1 upgrade, but it seems to be down. I've been getting the "page cannot be displayed" message all week.

Is it just me? I have a cable connect, so downloading should be quick and easy, but I may be taking you up on your generous offer.

Thanks.

Zonker, Have you tried the Armor Site? I think Fabio has most of the upgrades posted on his web site. In fact that is where I downloaded my 6.1 upgrade. Good download speeds. The ARMOR Site
If you can't get it, let me know and I'll get one on the way to you. :)

Why didn`t you say so before. I had to download upgrade from 4.5 to 5.01 with a 56k modem. It took me about ten hours to complete :D

So i know what kind hell that is. I`m glad that i had ( Commercial Warninig ) GetRight.

So thank you in advance for all people that have a slower connection.

P.S Sorry about the bad english

Sorry Salama, I wasn't aware that there were so many people that still didn't have it or I would have posted sooner. It took me 23 hrs to download mine, so don't feel too bad. :D
Glad you got it.

And then by Finnish:

jos joku on vielä 6.01 tarpeessa eikä saa sitä imuroitua, meilaa minulle ja järjestän 4.5-6.01 (5.01-601) päivityksen poltettuna CD:lle omakustannushintaan ; siis postikuluilla.

I logged in late today, otherwise I would have jumped on your offer sooner! I would absolutely love a copy of 6.1!! My modem is very lazy, and hates to work hard. Cable access in my area will not be available for another 5 months (boo!) I'll email you my address.
