MTBs not showing range circles

I don't know if this is WAD, but my MTB squadrons are not showing range and visibility circles even if I have removed them from AI control. They also don't even appear on my map when under AI control (unless one of my ships under my control can see them).

Are they maybe supposed to be like support forces and not able to be brought under player control? If so, this is a bug because I can uncheck AI control (in captain's mode) and drive them around. They're pretty useful in night actions if you can do this.

No, sorry, if I get another case I'll put one up. But you can certainly reproduce it by going on captain's mode, getting a battle at night in the vicinity of one of your bases with MTBs, and then when the MTBs show up, selecting a group and taking them off AI and trying to drive them around. They will respond to your orders (once you remember to take them off patrol status), but the circles for visibility, weapon range, torpedo range, etc. won't show up for them.
