IJA forces are moving in strength to create a line....also, the Burma garrison troops are heading for Hanoi...but our tanks might be there tomorrow depending upon how the IJA retreat, if not there tomorrow then the next day.

Re: Spanking Lowpe (NJP72 vs Lowpe (A))
That looks nice for a bunch of Brooklyn class vessels, the Helena subclass, as well as the Cleveland class vessels properly escorted but with appropriate destroyers. Even the Allied naval forces should have some useful ships as well to party with those Japanese task forces.
Attack bombers with lots of forward firing guns might gut enemy fighters, so might fighter bombers.

Love how you are using your massed armour to create a rolling pursuit and advance about 3X normal fighting advance.

Re: Spanking Lowpe (NJP72 vs Lowpe (A))
In a shocking move to me, the Japanese have sent two tank divisions forward to attack east of Hanoi and west of Lang Son, while another IJA Division approaches Lang Son from the east. It must be very difficult getting supplies to all these troops.
I suspect this is a last ditch gasp in an attempt to secure an exit route for all the IJA troops caught west Lang Son.
Meanwhile, our troops at Nanning are holding off even more tanks.
And to complicate matters further, our tanks rampaging to the west of Haiphong, didn't force all the IJA shattered troops there (2 Divisions and 1 Bde) to all retreat....only two did and they went to Haiphong.
So, a lot hinges on Nanning as a supply depot for the IJA soldiers....there is so much opportunity here...but our Formosa invasion is scheduled for this month too! Lots of clicks...
Vinh P4,A8, and Pakhoi P3, AF8 factor quite largely. A very large troop and supply convoy is leaving Vinh today after draining Vinh of supplies (down to 14K, but more will arrive tomorrow thanks to the rails).
The shattered 49th Chinese Corp, now at Pakhoi is up to 120AV from 0 quite quickly awash in supplies....
Meanwhile, the true fight....the logistics war is going pretty well...I got forty liberty ships up thru the Straits of Malacca to Rangoon....where they will continue the huge sea lift of Commonwealth troops and supplies....

Re: Spanking Lowpe (NJP72 vs Lowpe (A))
Gonna use an air drop on Haiphong to close off that route for a retreat from the shattered IJA division to the west...hopefully forcing them to retreat to Hanoi dragging 1000 points worth of tanks with them right into Hanoi.

Wow, that's like a furball on the ground, what with your troops and IJA troops all over the place. Good luck!

Disappointing fight....the IJA 17th Division, due west of Haiphong, holds despite a 60-1 attack...our paratroopers landed in Haiphong cutting off retreat in that direction, and no enemy troops in Hanoi but I guess there isn't enough supplies for a valid retreat path. Meanwhile, the IJA tank divisions clear up the Chinese to the east of Hanoi.

Re: Spanking Lowpe (NJP72 vs Lowpe (A))
Lots of troops moving forward....chance to really destroy an IJA tank division at Lang Son...fight for Nanning just a distraction....sea lift from Vinh to Pakhoi takes an incredible amount of shipping. One 1,000 AV Chinese Corp takes 26,000 troop capacity.
2 shattered IJA Divisions and 1 Bde at Haiphong...I believe there is only one half decent IJA division protecting Hanoi....our tanks should make short work of them.

My computer is magnifying the screen from the window to the paint program by 75%. Is it too big for the graphics of you guys? 3840 x 2160 is my current disply....well a little smaller to fit in a window.
