Windowed Resolution Won't Change

Been trying for half an hour to find a way to get the windowed version of the game to change from the default resolution, and nothing I have done works. It's worked for my friend who was trying to change it, and I've used the exact settings they've used, and still won't work!

Current command line switch:

"F:\Games\War in the Pacific\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -cpu4 -wd -pxf1680 -pyf1050 -deepColor -dd_sw -multiaudio -altFont -skipVideo -archive

I've tried running it both as admin and not, I've run it in Windows Vista compatibility mode, I've tried -px -py and -pxf and -pxy, I've tried with the only command line being -wd -pxf1680 -pyf1050, I've tried using SeaBee. I am loading the game fully and launching a scenario to test each time.

I am able to set the game to fullscreen and change the aspect ratio there, but it won't change for windowed, and I'd like to use windowed mode so that I can alt-tab without the clunkiness of fullscreen alt-tabbing.

I'm on windows 10.

Anyone have anything else I could try to fix this? I've exhausted every possible fix I could find.

This is for my computer that I place on my chest. So it is a chest top and not a lap top computer . . .

"C:\WITPAE beta testing\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -SingleCpuStart -cpu2 -wd -pxf1366 -pyf768 -deepColor -dd_sw -altFont -archive

It may not be the best but it works for me. I just use the "window" key to go do other things.

Found the fix, I wasn't updated because I didn't know about the extra patch downloads. Works now.

What's -wd? it should be -w for windowed.

For some reason when they made the switches they combined Windowed Mode (w) with Daily Saves (d).

I remember now. Don't use daily saves.

Also, remember to use the dash "-" instead of the minus "-" sign from the numeric keyboard!
