Wanting to start playing WITP - original - again

So -

I loaded up WITP - mainly because I wanted to play a 1942 scenario with AI - and it seems to be working fine.

Have a Surface with Windows 11.

However, the text is highlighted pink. Anything I can do to fix that?? Thoughts???

These switches of the AE version should also work in the old one, try creating a shortcut with the following text in the target.

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific\War In The Pacific.exe" -altFont -deepColor
