Post by DETROY »

Is there a way to find/export a list of Soviet units, availaible for creation at the certain dates? I am plaing Soviet campaing right now and i want to know when exectly i will be able to form corps, divisions, etc, and when this possibility will close. Maybe someone did this for themselves and can share it.

Look in the game editor. There is a tab titled "TOE(OB)" that might give you the information you are looking for.

I created some documents of the Soviet TOEs but they are from May 2021 when the game first came out so I'm not sure how valid they are anymore.

Have a similar question as the OP. Can't find any dates in the manual or editor. Just want to know when Soviets can begin building rifle corps? Even an approximate date (early/mid/late 1942, etc.) would be helpful!

Thanks for the graphic! Still a bit confused (or just stupid). The highlighted part seems to imply that corps are available in Sep 41 and more in Jan 42. I'm at Feb 42 in my campaign game and no corps are available (except cavalry). Or is the correct date lower down on the graphic (June 42)?

The yellow circled area contains the limit. This is somewhat created by historical data (altough not perfect and mostly too high).
The TOEs below are those that are increasing the "unit" number you have applying to the limit. Also when you look the right side listing, theres the "2302 Guards Rifle Corps", those can't be built but will also count towards that limit.
And as you guessed there is not yet a TOE to be built, so the 6/42 is the month to wair for. If you click on a TOE to build (in the building window in the live game), then you can see on the right side when the TOE was able and until when it will be able to be built.
Devs seem to have chosen to just always use the 1st Month of a year to change the limits to numbers which often only were reached until the end of the year, by TOEs only available later that year. So confusion is pre-programmed.

Overall Corpses are weird/confusing, you start with them the game, where they still are HQs (like on German side), but since Soviets purged so many officers they needed to get rid of some HQs, so they killed them and later re-introduced them in a more "glued together" way. In game Devs made it to be one CU, I guess to enable Soviets to stack more Manpower in one Hex, which may have gone over board with 3 attached SUs tho. :|
